T1 general- submitted on 27 march - still inder consideratio

Post by anks1022 » Mon Jun 29, 2009 4:28 pm

Hi, Any ideas about any case similar to mine:

I submited my application, T1 General, on 27 March. Got the acknowledgement on 30th March. Amount deduceted shortly.
On 12th May I called up and asked the status of my application. Got the reply that status is UNDER CONSIDERATION & a pckage had been sent to my home address on 7th May, 2009. Also given me the of the Royal Mail reference number for the Recorded Delivery by which they had sent the package.
I haven't received any package till date. I enquired numerous times at Immigration enquiry office, sent letters to UK Border Agency, London and mailed to the given mailing address. Got absolutely nothing so far. Just they have opened and Enquiry against my application on 7th June and asked me to wait for 1 month i.e. till 7 July.
I have no idea what was there in the package sent to me. and what does it mean by status being 'UNDER CONSIDERATION'. M afread of losing my original academic degree and mark sheets..

SEEKING for any advices....

thanks,
Ankur

Have you tried to track your package via royal mail website with the reference number you were given?

Yes, many times. And interestingly they hav got nothing on their system againt that reference number. One explaination that i got is that since this was a RECORDED delivery, it will only appear on their system when it's delivered to the recipient and signed by him. Till that time theres nothing anybody can do..
Its really pathetic that Royal Mail cant track an item which they themselves are responsible to transport.

thanks 4 concern...
Please update in case u got any info in matters similar to this.

regards,
Ankur
