any success for a spouse visa in Zimbabwe

hey found out i was a overstayer and been given temporary admission have applied for a COA fiance and child are brits,i am considering going back to Zim after i get married but have concerns.been going to uni didnt know visa was refused.i have heard that its better to apply from ur home country but then i missed the 1st oct deadline.any advice /help would be much appreciated

apparenlt according to law as long as you have a family based in the uk then you are exempt from the rule, as me and my hubby were in the same position.

I am getting help from the immigration advisory service, seek legal advice before you decide on anything!!

u say u were in the same case does it mean u went back and stuff got ur visa or are u still waiting for advise.i have read the paragraph 320 and it states people who are married are exempt.can u just tell me a bit more about ur story please.

my husband overstayed in the uk and we have kids together.

he went back to his country of origin and then we got married, we are currently going through the appeal process due to complications although not relating to that ruling , more of the evidence we provided!!

if you want any more details i can send you them, just let me know!!!

Angelista, as long as you meet the spouse visa requirements you can go to Zim and get married and you will be back in no time.

I went to Zim back in March this year , got married and got my spouse visa within three days. I had overstayed for 6 years!

Had the help of the immigration advisory service to check all my docs and to write a letter of support before I went back.

For a list of supporting documents we sent with the application see link below.
It was a bit over the top but we did not want to take any chances. All the documents were put together neatly in a very thick folder by the time we were done!

Every application is judged on it's own merit.

Just make sure you have all the evidence that proves you have been in a relationship with your partner!!!!, from as far back as you can get it!

good luck and god bless on ur new life with ur hubby.I applied for a COA so im just going to wait for it get married here and go home (Zim)and apply for a settlement visa.by the way can you please tell me kuti when u were going home did u get a ticket valid for three months or one months and since ur visa came out within a week did u change dates and come back early.i am also not working as its one of my conditions for my temporary admission/i have temporary leave.sorry back to question i dont work have no employment offer but i doubt i will have any problem finding work when i get back.will that hinder my application not having income that is.i have bank statements with money coming in from inland revenue benefits and that becos my fiance is brit and we have a baby he is entitled to them.so i am exempt from the no recourse to public funds rule.
