Settlement visa-employment

Post by philwafc » Sat Jul 11, 2009 9:18 pm

Hello, my wife will be applying for her UK settlement visa in a couple of months. I was just wondering does it make a difference whether she has a job lined up or not? She will want to find work when she gets here but she won't have anything lined up beforehand. Also on the appliction form regarding the question, will she be working in the UK? we will be answering yes, but we can't provide details of this because she won't have anything lined up before getting here, and isn't likely to. I just don't want to answer yes and then the ECO to say, "you have answered yes but you have provided no evidence regarding employment" As always any advice appreciated. Cheers
