Well let's put it this way. There seems to be nothing about a time limit and accordingly I would suspect that a time limit does not exist. So why not get the test out of the way in October prior to your December application.Aix wrote:Is there a time limit on how long the results of Life in the UK test are valid for?
In places like Birmingham, and no doubt other places as well, there are people who are British and have lived here for many years but who know very little English language and even less about how British institutions are structured. So I think the language requirement and the new Citizenship test are an attempt to break away from that.Chess wrote: i dont see what it actually achieves
Very useful, thanks.Khurram wrote:Source : IND Nationality Page
http://www.lifeintheuktest.gov.uk/htmls ... ng_10.htmlThe test is a series of 24 questions based on chapters 2, 3 and 4 of 'Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship.'
(On the other hand, the very same document claims that "The Life in the UK tests are now available from 3 October.")The test will be taken on a computer at one of around 90 Life in the UK Test centres in the UK. The test will consist of 24 questions based on the information contained in chapters 2, 3 and 4 of the handbook "Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship". 45 minutes will be allowed for the test, but most people will be able to complete it in much less time.
