Urgent- Extention approval (Kayalami)

Post by raj » Tue Sep 27, 2005 12:02 pm

Hi,

I am in very strange situation.

I am due to apply for Extension in NOv, I am full time employed in HSMP designated field form last 4 months, Problem is the pay slips.

I am getting the pay slips from my employer but the problem is my compmany changed its name before my joining however, all the employees are getting pay slips still with old company name.

to elaborate more: my company name before my joining was ABC Limited, Before my joining also they changed the company name from ABC Limited to XYZ Limited. Ideally all the employees should receive the pay slips with the new name i.e. XYZ Limited, how ever this is not the case here, We are getting the payslips still with ABC Limited name!!

whereas my appointment letter is from XYZ Limited. Hence If I submit my appointment letter with XYZ Limited and Pay slips from ABC limited that would be very worse case!

what to do now!!! please suggest! My employer have said that they will get the change in Payroll system ASAP however, all my past 4 months salary are not going to change with new neme before I apply for extension.

even my bank statements shows the salary transfer transactions from ABC Limited

please suggest what should i do?

Regards
Raj

The simple solution to this is that you should submit a covering letter explaining the change of name of your employer and why there are differences in the names of the employer in the payslips, contract of employment etc. and enclose a copy of the Certificate of Change of Name of the Company issued by Companies House.

I thought this way, but how would I be able to convince home office that why my employer didn't change the name of their company in payroll system since its been over 6 months when this change took place.

do I need to get a letter from employer stating that it was a mistake from their end and they will be rectifying the same in due course ( this sounds almost impossible as I donot want to involve my employer in my extention process)

I could see only two solutions.

It seems that both the company is in operation.

1) Get a appointment letter from ABC Limited (I don't think that is very easy.....)

2) The right solution is that you should submit a covering letter explaining the change of name of your employer and why there are differences in the names of the employer in the payslips, contract of employment etc. and enclose a copy of the Certificate of Change of Name of the Company issued by Companies House.

tamilmaran, did you note that you are responding to a post / query that is 7 years old!!!!!!!

Looks like someone is using the "search" tool quite efficiently.
