Post by sonivic » Fri May 22, 2009 6:24 pm

Hi All,

I was in UK during month of Feb but had to come back becasuse of some urgent piece of work... I am travelling again next month. This time also I have to take the chest XRay report or has to undergo the medical examination at airport.

3/4 months is fine. It is not advisable to get exposed to X-ray in less than 6 months. Carry the original X-ray report with you.

Hi Push,

Question for you, I am travelling to India this sept 09, and will be back to UK in about 3 weeks of time. Do I have to get my chest x-ray done again? I will be getting the chest x-rays for my wife n kid but not sure whether i have to get it done again or not?

Please advice.

Jedi.. sorry for butting.. Chest X-rays are only required for the first visit unless if u are comming back to UK after long gap but it is not mentioned anywhere for requirement of x-ray after long gap also..

So in ur case 3weeks is not a problem... just get x-rays for your wife and kids.. but if u have ur old x-ray available keep it handy..
