What benefits can we claim

My wife is on a spouse vise from Vietnam and she is now pregnant, on the visa she has no recourse on public funds, but what Benefits can
she claim and I claim as the father of the baby. (I am a British citizen)

Response I recieved from immigration officer. Hope this clarifies.

"in the case of a couple in which one of the partners is a British citizen or has permanent residence, the British partner or permanent resident is entitled to claim child benefit under child benefit legislation. This would not be consideBLUE to be recourse to public funds."
