New immigration rules -- anybody knows?

Post by Ilan » Tue Aug 04, 2009 8:54 am

I am looking for information about what is going to change for people who already have ILR following the launch of the new immigration policy. In a nutshell about our case: we are both non-EU. my wife came to the UK in Dec 2003 under work visa. We married Sep 2007 and I joined her in the UK in Nov 2007 as her dependent. In Dec 2008 we both got our ILR. Now with the changes in immigration rules we are confused. What's going to change for us if anything? when will we be entitled to apply for citizenship?
Apprecaite any insight.
