Sounds a bit fishy - how can he be dependant on his sister and married to you?

lovely22,

I think the media is providing maily that information that would help them see an increase in their sale of papers/magazines.
The new citizenship bill has been passed and there's a clause of Probationary citizenship prior to getting citizenship/PR. Some of the rules have been changed for HSMP -JR and some will after implementation of this bill in July 2011.
Though, pls provide more details in your case so that members can share the most relevant experience.
thanks

thanks,
we are married after he was sponsored by his sister from norway. His visa is due in march 2011where it will be five years then.He has been in UK under asylum about 8 years before he got sponsored by his sister.I am an international student here studing for biomedical science degree. The immigration has probhited him from working under asylum after 6 years which has led to this sponsorship by his sister.By granting the visa of family member, his asylum document has been returned to the asylum department in advice one of PEO.If the PR is cancelled then there will be a trouble as now he can't apply for long residency.
Thanks again
