Hi,
I received my doucments today and I've got visa for 3 years and 5 months,
Initially my visa was expiring in Nov 09' but I've applied in Aug ,
So it's approved till Nov12.
Application Posted on 14th July
Application Received on 15th July
Confirmation Letter Received on 17th July

Exactly three week processing, I've learned so many things from this Forum,
Thanks to all again,
I'am happy to answer if any one got any query...

First of all congratulations for winning the battle:).

Did you give any clarification in your cover letter about why you were applying early?

Also did you contact the home office and take some assurance that applying so early would be fine?

I didn;t mention anything in my coverletter I called HO few times regarding applying early for extension but no proper response from them....
