Crazy UK Border Agency

More crazy decisons from UKBA.

Whats so stupid is the comment from UKBA where they are asking people to reapply and pay again. They have been doing this for ages.

I wish all applicants refused visa to appeal against every decision, rather than reapply, at least that way UKBA will be made to work for the fees paid by applicant which on average is around £1000 by the time you pay for everything such as applications, medicals, travelling etc .

Unfortunately most people dont do that and instead reapply and pay the same fee all over again, simply becaus they cant wait the 6 months or so for the appeal hearing and then a further 4 months to get their visas stamped in their passport

I would be interested to see the income and revenue UKBA get from Indo/Pak applicants compared to other BHC posts in other parts of the world.

Complete outrage. Have they any evidence that these individuals will breach or contravene their visa conditions, or are threat to public order or security?

UKBabble & Archigabe

I fully agree with your comments fellas and accept that there have been instances of abuse of the system, but compared to the number of genuine applicants, abuses such as these are a very small fraction.

Having recently advised on a number of inquiries on visa refusals on this forum, I have doubted the consistency of the ECO dealing with applicants from Pakistan. Some of the decisions have been mind boggling, such as the high numbers of refusals given under the wrong section by the ECO.

I accept and understand the pressures the ECO are under dealing with applications from here, but I feel the applicants deserve a bit more credit and professionalism from people who make decisions which subsequently have major impact on the lives of the applicants.

Here, Here, Batley Khan!!

I have stuck it out and am going for the appeal, I worked for the money I paid for my hubbies Visa application and we have the right to appeal.
Just wish everyone was as patient.

As for the people who disappear or break the rules, whether immigration rules or other subjects, there are always going to be a minority who try and bend them or escape them.

THATS LIFE! i'm afraid!!!!!!!

Good on you and I hope (I know ) you will succeed. I just wish more people will do the same.

I accept that Ind/Pak applicants want instant success, but the sooner they get used to the fact that this is not going to happen, the better it will for them all.
