Number Of Work Experience Points.

Post by sjgul » Thu Oct 13, 2005 4:41 am

Hello Friends,

I have some confusion regarding claiming points under work experience category.

I would be applying above 28 years category and can claim 25 points with 5 years of graduate level work experience. However, my 5 years of work experience is split in 2 halfs. 1 year between my Bachelors and Masters and 4 years after Masters.

However, both are graduate level work experieces and I can get the relevant experience certificate from my employer as well.

Can any friend on this Board throw some light on this whether I will be easily able to claim 25 points on my 5 years experience ( which is spilt in two halfs).

Regds,
jsgul.

You have 5 years of experience since your graduation and you should be able to claim 25 points for that. You should be able to explain a break taken for completing Masters before resuming your proffessional career in a covering letter. Make sure your work experience certificates reflect graduate level experience.
