Halo all .
I will like to know if child benifits and child tax credit is public fund and can have effect on your application to the home office?

If you are subject to immigration control, you cannot apply for those benefits. If you have a partner who is not subject to immigration control, they can claim those benefit, and it will not be counted as recourse to state fund when your application is dealt with.

Not subject to immigration control means holders of ILR or British Passport holders or EEA nationals.
