Help. We have just learned that our visa application has been refused.My wife is a filipina and I am a british citizen and although we are married we only applied for a visitors visa at this stage, whilst we decide whether to live in the uk or indeed live in the philippines.
The refusal was based on sections 1 & 2 of the immigration rules which basically amounts to them not believing that my wife is coming purely as a visitor and that she will return after 6 monthys (the maximum length of the visitors visa)
I really dont know how or what proof I can give to convince them of our genuine intentions. Can anyone who has suffered and overcome this seemingly impossible objection please advise me how it is achieved.
