HSMP ( Tier -1 ) Extension questions

Hi All,

I have some questions on my HSMP ( Tier-1) extension. I got it the first time by applying to Home office in UK and it is due to expire in a couple of months.

Should I extend it again with Home office only or can I do it in British high commission in India too ?

And even if I must do it at Home office can I post it from India or should I be physically present in the UK while applying for an extension ?

I have all the docs ready at hand.
It is just that I may be on a vacation in India for a while and thought of finishing my extension work while vacationing.

Information in this regard highly helpful.

I meant can I send my entire extension application along with all the documents including Indian passport from India ?
