Judge Decission in my Favour. CAN Home Office CHALLENGE it?

Post by bwaqas » Wed Sep 02, 2009 1:14 pm

Dear Friends,

My appeal against the home office rejecting my transition from IGS to PSW was successful and I had my hearing on the 18th Aug.

Explained the Judge myself that for those 2 days, where my funds went below the required 800, I had an available balance of 1100 pounds in the other account.

Judge did ask me that your other account is overdrawn 221 pounds so I showed him the 1300 pounds credited into that account just 4 days ago and explained it to him that if I knew that my bank would take out money from my saving account, the one which I was maintaining for this purpose, I could've easily transfered money from my overdrawn account where I had received 1300 pounds 3 days ago.

Based on this, he gave the decision in my favour yesterday and now my main question is, can Home Office challenge this decision of the court and take me to Higher Court?

And what am I suppose to do now? Shall I contact the home office myself or wait for them to contact me? Coz someone on the Tribunal Help Line told me that I am suppose to wait for a response from the Home Office myself.

Will be eagerly waiting for your reply.

Thanks a lot guys.
