yeah... thanks for that little piece of insight.

I see youve been approved. Lucky you not to have gone through the hell of rejection for the stupidest of reasons that you cannot change though there is by far evidence of the contrary.

As clever as you were of reading my post history.. you didn’t read it close enough. Did you know attention to detail is critical in the HSMP application?

Actually, I WAS rejected on the basis that HO calculated a years worth of income on the exchange rate of the day my application reached the top of the pile. That certainly was not fair...as my monthly income should have been calculated based on the average exchange rates for each month that I submitted.

I am not suggesting that if you are rejected.. to deal with it and move on. By all means mistakes happen which is why they give the opportunity to appeal..yes.. take advantage of it.

There are just many posters on this board that threaten to take legal action, file complaints even after the second or third rejection. HO doesn’t owe anyone seeking HSMP anything… as it’s a privilege.

I highly doubt many reasons for rejection are stupid. Sometimes you just have to accept the situation for what it is and move on. Improve your skills, experiences, income… and try again in another year or so.

Agreed that it is a privilege. But on the other hand they are charging £335 for application which is no way any negligible amount. When people pay for a service they do expect some quality standard. HO should not be paid for their stupidity!

HO is earning a great deal of revenue from the applicant's money. So, applicants do deserve some decent service.

Many HSMP candidates returned to their home countries after searching for jobs in vain for several months! There is no gurantee that getting HSMP approval will surely bring you everlasting happiness. It works for some not for others.

Don't count too much on it.
If you got approval, try your best after coming to UK
if you got refusal, try to see that the refusal should not affect your life too much.... life can still be better....
