Previous Earnings

Post by dupuytren » Fri Sep 04, 2009 2:14 pm

Hi all
I have graduated from the UK July last year and have worked here for 13 months since I graduated.
I have a question re: previous. I have 13 months pay slips. The problem is, I moved house in June and the very silly previous tenants returned my posts to sender including my bank statement and thus my June bank statement is missing, however I have all my other bank statements since I started work until now.
Last Tuesday I went to natwest and told them I wanted the original copy of my June statement sent to me, they charged me £5 and till today I have not received the bank statement yet - I rung them yesterday and all they said was that since the £5 has gone through, it should arrive within 5-7 working days, but please bear in mind the bank hol. Today is day 7 and still nothing in my post!
I'm going to Croydon home office at 9am next Tuesday so I am desperate to get this ready and dont want to get it rejected.
My questions are:
1. since i worked for 13 months, I plan to claim from 3 August 2008 (day I started work) till 31 Aug 2009. i have all the payslips, but what shall I do about the bank statement situation ? Do I make Natwest print it off for me in branch and ask someone to stamp it? Will this be accepted?
2. or should I just claim for 13 months, and assume they will reject my june one and still have 12 months in total anyway?

Please enlighten me!

You can ONLY use 12consecutive months of the last 15months salary payslips...

is there any rush that you want to apply on tuestday only.. is that an appointment??

1. I would wait for the missing bankstatement to come back..
2.and choose those 12consecutive months in the last 15 based on which gives max required poitns..
3. check the net amout in the payslips and the net credited in the bank are all matching exactly
4. Check the lastest 3months statements have enough maintennac funds as required and see it fall within 1month by the time i apply

pleaes go through the HO Guidance, read it 2-3times and ask any questions u require help for...

To add to this, if you already have enough points without taking into consideration the salary for the month where you don't have the bank statement, then just disregard it. HO will be able to consider those 11 months, in a consecutive 12 month period, for which you have provided both payslips and bank statements.

dear all
finally my statements for june has arrived.
usually with natwest statments, it comes in several small pieces of paper. there is usually a front sheet which has my name and address on it. however the ones i received today didnt have this front cover bit, it just has all the transactions but contains the bank logo, my account no/sort code and my name, but no address. however it does show the correct amount of money coming in from my employer. it looks exactly like my other bank statements though.
would this still be accepted w/out the home address?
