info on applying dependent visa for ILR

Hi,

I posses ILR and getting married in OCT. Could somebody please let me know whether i should apply settlement visa for my spouse or marriage visa?

After marriage, spouse may apply for a settlement spouse visa, subject to the maintenance and accommodation requirements.
