Salary Received In Cash Not Deopsited In Bank

Post by yushsharma » Thu Sep 10, 2009 12:40 am

Hi All,

I am about to apply for Tier 1 (General )Visa by end of this month. (Swthng from PSW to Tier 1 General)

As most of my queries have been answered by the other topics and its replies (THANK YOU ALL FOR THAT ) I just have a couple of questions that I need an answer to.
Your help will be very much appreicated.

1) I have 2 jobs one of them is full time and salary has been paid into the bank account.
But the other job was part-time and I received my salary in cash along with payslip at the end of every month,
Now I am not sure if payslips and letter from employer stating my earning (gross + net + Ni contributions) will be enough or not.
as this is my last month of doin my p/t work can I attach my P45 form along if I get one. will it count as a proof of income and awarded points?

2) Identity card for foreign nationals ICFN: I do not have one as I have been in UK long before this bit had been introduced. What do i need to fill in that section of the form.

thinking 2 switch over Tier 1 from PSW but problem of wages

Post by ursbunti » Thu Sep 10, 2009 12:52 am

Hi Mates,
I m new member who needs to know; is it necessary that salary or wage in cash form needs to be deposited 1 by 1 or some collective amount could be deposited?
Actually I m thinking to switch over Tier 1 (General) Migrant from PSW but problem is that I got my wage in cash form and some wages i deposited in the bank account and some not. But luckily some deposit are such that they are the sum of 6 wages (cash) and some are sum of 8 wages and some are of 4.
6 deposits are like this and then all the other are 1 by 1 in cash form.
If I say the HO case worker in written form that I didnt plan to apply for this and I did some deposits in collective wages form. Can u plz let me know would it be ok?
I am much woorried about it and atlast decided to seek guidance from u people.
I would be very grateful to all of u.
Kind Regards,
Bunti

To claim points for salary you need to provide evidence from two seperate source. 1. Payslip,Employer letter, P60 etc. 2. Bank Statement.
Home Office is very particular about this. I am affraid if you do not have corroborative transaction of your payslips(cash salary) case worker will not consider it.

2) Identity card for foreign nationals ICFN: I do not have one as I have been in UK long before this bit had been introduced. What do i need to fill in that section of the form.
Leave it Blank or mention that you are not issued this card.
