Applying TIER4 this week, please help

Post by ice_breaker » Mon Sep 07, 2009 12:34 am

i am now all set to apply for tier4, just a few question need to ask.

1. on the university visa letter it stated that document used for eligibilty is Bachelors degree, ATAS and studied through the medium of English in pervious studies.

NOW Bachelors degree, is alone degree is fine or they require transcripts too. i have degree but transcript is not stamped or anything. will that be ok.

2. Studied through the medium Of English in previous studies. SHould i send my HSSC AND SSC certificates but it doesnt mention anywhere that it was English Medium or what. but it states the subjects and marks. or should i put note on it and explain them that all that was studied in English

PLease note that i graduated from the same uni i am applying for masters.

PLEASE HELP .

Application Information

Post by sehdev.akash » Sun Sep 13, 2009 10:49 am

Hello,

I am Akash, Education UK Ambassador. The requirements for higher education in UK are very simple and easy to follow but everyone needs a plan before they set themselves to study in accordance with the immigration rules.

In regards to the requirements for the Tier 4 Visa, Your degree award will be sufficient as you have done your degree in UK (in English Language). You would neither need to send the detailed transcript (Unless you have one available) nor any of your previous qualifications. However, I'd advice you to get a supporting letter from the university for your application.

Guidance on the Tier4 application is also available on the UKBA application form as well. You can also consult the International Student Advisor in your university for the information required on the supporting letter from university.

I hope this information is helpful. Good luck with your applications.

Regards.
Akash Sehdev
