maintenance funds

I got a question regarding maintenance funds. I have to show two different bank statement to show my source of earnings , one earned from the employer and one from Self-Employed.

Problem is that i have a negative balance in 1 statement, but have funds maintained in other accounts , does it affect my application. what if i attach a cover later to point for maintenance funds to the bank statement which has non-negative balance.
and even in the negative balance i can still have overdraft of 1800, which i can use...

Can you please tell me what effect it might have on my application

You can use two different accounts to show maintenance funds. If one account has got negative funds but on the same instance(day) you have maintained enough amount in other account, that is acceptable. In case of multiple accounts, combined sum of both the account should be go below the minimum reqd fund at any given moment of time.
Overdraft is not accepted as maintenance funds.Don't bank on it.
