Currently this change affects people coming in on Tier 2 and not yet Tier 1.

As for being a fool wasting their life, it is purely subjective. Any government is initially responsible to its own citizens and not to anyone else. So it is natural that in time of recession it will try and ensure that its own citizens are first in line to get a job.

If migrants have to suffer, unfortunately that is always going to be the preferred option for any government every single time.

It is british GOVT to decide who should work here , if they make any law it it their right but once it is told prospective applicant then there should be a fair play

No point worrying about "what ifs". People coming on HSMP/Tier-1 here are "Highly Skilled". There is always a market for highly skilled people in the world. These are the people who makes difference with there work, attitude and passion to acheive their targets. Don't think any law can stop it. If not UK somewhere else...world is very big.
