MADE REDUNDANT!! Will this affect Spouse Visa Application

Hello,

I have recently been made redundant, i got married in Pakistan last year my wife is currently 20, will be 21 in February next year when i was planning to apply for her Settlement Spousal Visa

However, for the Visa requirements is it imperative to provide 6 months continuous payslips from your employment?? - I am pretty confident i will find a job by the end of the year as jobs in my field are picking up, however say by February 2010 i only have 2-3 months of payslip would this be sufficient. I have over 25k saved in my bank account and own my own property and have received my P45 detailing what i earned over the last year and tax i have paid and have 12 months payslips from September 2009

Yes you both should be over21 to apply for spouse visa.

However, for the Visa requirements is it imperative to provide 6 months continuous payslips from your employment??

No

Requirement is 3 months although 6 months are considered good.

If you have good job experience this would be considered as well.So must provide evidence of your past job with p60 and pay slips.Even you have one month old job you can apply with previous pay slips plus new pay slips and with £25000 you have a good chance.

As I said above you would be fine even with one month pay slpis plus evidence of your old job and yours work experience.

Indeed a good balance so you would be fine.Even you would be fine with just one month pay slip or just your job contract letter from your p45 plus last years pay slips.

if you can get a job and and show even a few months payslips and thats fine. But with your savings you should being that high you should have no problem. Bear in mind you will need to show how you have managed to save that massive amount(eco will investigate) and its not just a big lump sum that you have put randomly.

How old are you if you mind me asking?

I will obviously submit my payslips confirming my monthly salary and bank statements for 2009 showing this money being paid to my account monthly so in that sense i believe all would be fine.

1 months payslip - well fingers crossed ill be in a new job by January 2010 although given the market conditions id have to take a huge pay cut so i guess my payslips from my previous job would be very important

after household bills and rent you need to show minimum of around £405 left over to support you and your wife. I'm guessing your a qualified person so that wont be a problem. What field are you in?
