Urgent: Rental agreement for Visitor visa for family

Post by shrini25 » Tue Sep 22, 2009 9:47 am

Hello,

I am planning to call my parents to UK. I have a couple of questions, would highly appreciate if someone could answer them.

1] My tenancy agreement was from Dec 14 2008 -- June 14 2009 and it was shared with me and my flat mate. After june my flat mate has left and now its me staying alone in the 2BHK apt. The landowner has agreed that I just need to give a month's notice before I vacate. Can somebody please suggest that is that agreement good enough to be passed on as an evidence for visitor visa or do I need to get a seperate letter from my landowner that my apt gets extended indefinetely.

2] My dad had some health problems earlier. Any advice or recommendations on any good health insurance package in India. If there are any thing else as well that might be neccessary then please do mention.

regards,
Shrini

My tenancy agreement was from Dec 14 2008 -- June 14 2009
It expired 3 months ago - Its now Sept 2009.

It will not be classed a valid document. You need to renew it in your name if the flat is only going to be used by you.

If not there is a good chance your parents visa will be refused on the grounds of accomadation if you dont presenta valid tennancy agreement
