100% sure. If child arrived to Irl before age 16 as minor, his further stamps 2, 2A DO COUNT for citizenship. Before it was considered as non -reckonable for citizenship. But a few years ago they started counting them as RECKONABLE.
My son's application was accepted and ref no was given to him ( a few months ago). He arrives at 15, his first stamp was stamp3 at age of 16, then he had stamps 2, 2A, 1, back to stamp2 and with stamp 2 he applied for citizenship.
A few of my friends did same, same situations, their children's applications were accepted.

dont ask me why. They simply dont count them stamps 2 for stamp4 applications. At least half year ago that was true, dont know ab stamp4 now. my son got it as i became irish recently.
