spouse & family ILR

Post by nasir » Sat Sep 26, 2009 2:09 pm

hi,
I am married to UK woman for more than 4 years and got daughter (3 yrs old UK national) from her. My question can I apply for ILE and stay in Dubai for 25 months , then travel to UK for settlement and apply for ILR?

No it is not different. Basically you want to use your wife to enter the UK and then divorce her. You want to enter using deception.

My answer is that you are a liar and shouldn't even bother coming to the UK.

The only liar here is you, go and look at your other 2 threads asking pretty much the same thing. It is obvious to anyone with half a brain that you are trying to enter the UK using deception. As another poster pointed out in one of those threads, you are only interested in getting a passport and not settling down with your family as you are asking about getting divorced and how it will affect you.

No, you can't apply for ILE to settle in the UK and then not use the visa for 25 months. In any event, as you may already have been advised, ILR is due to be abolished shortly, so being granted a permanent visa and British Citizenship a few years later will be far more difficult than you may at present imagine. Unlike the present ILR, the replacement 'Probationary Citizenship' visa, is intended to be revokable if your personal conditions change from when it was issued. This is partly to prevent people entering on a spouse visa (ILE or not), and then leaving their British spouse as soon as a 'permanent' visa is granted.
As Vinny has already requested...please don't open any further duplicate posts.
