Tier 1 query on documents submission and application posting

Post by vkrg123 » Mon Sep 28, 2009 1:37 am

Hi,

I am already on HSMP and applying for my extension using tier1 general appliction forms for self and dependent at a time

Question 1: Although I have filled two applications one for self and one for dependent, I am planning to send both of them in one post, is it ok or do I have to send dependents application form seperate and main applicant seperate although I am applying at a time for my dependent. Please advice ASAP as I am planning to submit today.

Question 2: As I am already on HSMP and using the same qualification now also to gain points for tier1, I am not submitting any proof as I have read some where on the policy guidence that no need to submit for educational proof if an applicant is using the same qualification based on which he obtained HSMP previously. Please advice me if this is fine or do I have to submit the educational proof again.

Question 3:
I am showing two different bank accounts one for maintenance and one for salary credit proof.
The account for maintenance funds does not have any issues at all now the question is although I don't have any issue with the salary credit in the current account that I am showing for salary proof will there be any problem if I use the over draft facility of that account.

Appreciate if I can get the quick response from some one.

Thanks,

You can send both the applications together in one pack.
Question 2: As I am already on HSMP and using the same qualification now also to gain points for tier1, I am not submitting any proof as I have read some where on the policy guidence that no need to submit for educational proof if an applicant is using the same qualification based on which he obtained HSMP previously. Technically speaking you do not have the submit the Qualification degress again but people, including myself, did send the degree certificates when extending leave under Tier 1. Just mention in the Covering Letter that though evidence was provided when filing for HSMP, it is still being sent again. There will not be a problem if you decide not to send them at all.

This is fine. It's only the maintenance funds account that should have the minimum level of funds (main app + dependants) for 3 months. The other account can go in OD. Just mention clearly in Cover Letter again that you are providing statements from different accounts for each of the above.
