EEA2 - Certificate of Application

Post by franciszek » Mon Sep 28, 2009 7:41 pm

Hi,

Can you tell me what rights does Certificate of Application give (the one you revice when applying for EEA2)?

Does it give a temporary legal status?

I was trying to find out but there's very little information about it.

Thanks in advance,
franciszek

None that you wouldn't have already.

No. Your right to residence is based on the relationship to the EEA national. The CoA is exactly what the name suggests: a confirmation that you applied for a residence card.
