visa transfer from workpermit dependent to Tier1 dependent

Hi all

I want to apply for Tier1 dependent visa for my wife in the next few days. I am currently on Tier 1 (G) visa which I changed over from work permit last year in March 2008.
My wife got work permit dependent visa in Feb 2008 valid till 2012 and we haven't changed it yet. It has been about 18 months since my workpermit changed to Tier1.
She even travelled to UK in May 2008 on workpermit dependent even though I had changed my visa to Tier1.

My questions are:
1) Is there any time limit in immigration rules for transfer of workpermit dependent visa to Tier1 dependent visa when the dependent is still in UK?
2) Would there be any problem for us as we delayed applying for her dependent visa for nearly 18 months?
3) What documents do we need to submit?

Ideally your wife should convert to Tier1 as soon as possible.

2) Would there be any problem for us as we delayed applying for her dependent visa for nearly 18 months?For out of country dependents, this is not an issues. But for in-country candidates you should apply asap.
3) What documents do we need to submit? Check dependents guidelines for the same
