UK Border Agency launches online booking for appointments

Post by John » Sat Sep 19, 2009 3:54 pm

This is good news, as per this UKBA webpage :-
The UK Border Agency is improving its customer service by offering a flexible new way for applicants to book appointments.

You can now go online to book your appointment

John,

Just been on the site, seems simple and straight forward!!....

Hopefully when we book our appointment...we will find the system really easy to arrange this.

prettypolitical, that is good to hear.

The only downside I can see is if lots of appointments are booked online, that will make it even more difficult to book an appointment on the telephone.

So folks, given that if you are reading this, you must have an internet connection, no doubt best to book your appointment online.

About time they had appointment bookings online!

However, i got on today at about 9:30am, and no appointments available at ANY of their offices for the weeks ahead. I think the availability is still very limited, and they don't say when they release new slots, only on a "daily" basis.

I have a feeling that slots are either released at midnight, or at 9am like the call center, although I can't see why it has to be 9am, as the only reason why they are released then through call center is because the call center only opens at 9!

So if anyone finds out when appointments are released, any info will be greatly appreciated :)
