Special Case HSMP

Post by shivam » Sun Nov 13, 2005 9:40 am

Hello,

I am a special case of HSMP as my age is < 23. I am from India.

My earnings for last fiscal (April 2004) to (March 2005) are 3000 pounds in the IT file. After that however i have earned more and my earnings from Nov 2004 to Nov 2005 cross 5000 pounds. I want to know if the Home Office will consider the last 12 month period or the last fiscal year for earnings calculation. If they consider the november to november period, what documents are appropriate to provide to them to show as my proof of income. The bulk of my income has been after this march and as you know it cannot be on the IT file yet.

Also the 2 yrs of experience that I gained was in an online job in a UK based company. So i wasnt on the site but i held the job title and had work responsibilities in that company which I used to handle online. Also during these two years of experience in a company i was studying in college at the same time doing my graduation. I was employed as a web developer in the company, which is a graduate level job.

I invite all the experts on this board to look at my case and tell me what my chances are of getting a HSMP visa.

Regards

they will be considering the 12 months period. and about the hsmp visa it entirly depends upon how you prepare your documents & loads of luck.
you will find people who have provided bunch of documents properly organised but still got the refusal...and some without anything were through. All the best ....do your best and rest leave on god.

They will take into account the preceding 12 months to the date of receiving your application. You will need to send as many original documents as you possibly can to prove your case. This will include wage slips, bank statements, your last tax returns, letters from your employer like promotions and bonuses during that period. etc
Also the 2 yrs of experience that I gained was in an online job in a UK based company. I think you willl have a task on your hand convincing the case worker that you were in a graduate level job. What you can do is provide as much documentation as possible to suppliment and prove your claim.

To be honest it will be difficult for anyone to say how good someone's chances are without having the knowledge of your case as you have and without knowing the quality of documentation you are going to submit. Your chances are just as good and just as bad as the next person. You can better your chances by having a proper understanding of the case worker's requirements and providing the same to them. A lot of refusals have come about because of insufficient or poor quality of documentation.

A good place to start would be HSMP Caseworker Guidance.
