Had PEO Appointment: 10th August 2009 (Liverpool) for SET O (10yrs continuous Residence)
Officer Decided that further investigation needed, so decision was not made on the day and application downgraded to postal application...

8 weeks and still waiting *cos they have not asked me for more information*â€¦..

Anyone else out there applied for 10yrs Residence Route??

My baby is due in December. What if the HO grant my ILR after my baby is born? Can my baby get British nationality?

You are doing too many tasks in one go. However, Yes you can ring them now to find out. And they will let you know the process. If your baby is born before getting ILR then you have to apply for his/her BC registration. If baby is born after ILR then they are British already. Just apply for the Passport. Now with your mortgage you can supply with a notrised copy of your passport to bank; (If you have one) Otherwise wait till passport comes back. Or ask them if they accept anything else as ID if your passport is with UK Authorities.

ILR Approved 6th October .

Congratulations to everyone that has received their passports back with the ILR Endorsed...

As for myself, Week 9 and still Awaiting...

10yrs Long residience application
Premium Application: 10th August 2009 - Liverpool
Decieded that further enquiry required so downgraded to postal application...

Cant make any enquiries till after Nove 16th and I havent heard anything back since I left the Liverpool PEO.

I called HO this morning. They refused to provide any information. They said I have to wait until 14 weeks.

I completed 4 years on September 12 however the home office has stamped ILR from October 07. I submitted my application 28 days before due date. Did anyone else have a similar experience with postal application?

And it arrived this morning in the post! It was backdated appropriately (4 years from my first HSMP visa) for myself and partner with a letter confirming this.

ILR Issued: 15 Oct
ILR Arrived: 17 Oct

oh wow, I feel encouraged and slightly discouraged about some of the posts here.

It is comforting that August Applications are being processed for SET O ILR in the Month of October, but I am starting to get slightly worried cos I am applying Set O ILR via the 10yrs residency route. The only problem is that I applied 10th August and I can see 14th August, 17th August receiving their passports back. Now that gets me worried!

I dont know if it because I made a PEO application Originally in Liverpool on 10th August, so I know that Payment and Application and Acknowledgement Letter all happened on that Day. The Fact that they decided to hold my application back for further investigation, do you think it is possible that they could have sent my application off to another UKBA location Like Croydon for further investigation hence pushing my submission date backwards to say A week or 2 later (depending on when they decided to send it to the alternative UKBA site).

Now I am just imagining the worst that they may just be seating on my application in Liverpool and not doing anything to investigate and progress my application! I really hope and Pray this is not the Case!

From Monday 19th October, It will be 10weeks and still waiting for me! *SIGHS*

Anyone else in the same situation as me???
