I am a non eu wife of a British citizen, met my husband in uk and had 3 children.because i was then living illegally, had problem with immigration and was asked to report for signing.I left uk voluntrilly unassisted, during those period,my husband got a job in germany where i entered as spuose of eu with 5 yrs eu residence card.living in germany for almost 2 yrs now,i applied to accompany my husband through the surinder sighn eu route,an eea family permit was issued valid for 6 months, visited uk with my husby and children all British. We are now contemplating weather to return and settle in uk.
I have the options of either to apply for uk rc card thru EU route or to go back to germany and apply at the british embassy for spouse visa (UK Immigration route)?
My concerns,
could my previous immigration history (illegal entry) 6 years ago have a serious consequnce in either way?
Which route would you opt for if you are in my shoes?
