ILR question

dear moderator,
i am on PFT visa for postgraduate doctor from july 2002 to jan 2005,from then on hsmp,got rectly hsmp extension upto jan 2009(got the passports back in 1 week).my question is,am i eligible for applying for ILR in july 2006,as now i am on hsmp and was on PFT for postgraduate doctor.i will be a qualified GP from july 2006,does that make any difference,

Permit Free Training Visas do not qualify for ILR under the 4-year rule. Your 4 year ILR clock ticks only from Jan 2005 when you switched to HSMP.
