How many years have I lived in UK?

Post by chosmith » Thu Nov 12, 2009 11:18 pm

Hello

I'm in the process of putting together my wifes application for the settlement visa (SET(M)). On page 5 of the application, it asks about her partner (me) and asks "How long has he lived in the UK?"

I was born in the UK - Im British. I'm 38 years and 8 months old. But we met in Australia in 2001 and lived overseas together for about 6 years. We came back to the UK together at the start of 2008.

So do i say i have lived in the UK all my life at 38 years and 8 months or for just nearly 2 years since we arrived back in the country?

Hmmm.
Many thanks for your help guys
Brad
