i did make a wrong application, and was refused now i know the right visa to apply to ,my questions are should i still appeal or drop the appeal and just apply for the right visa? any suggestion is very welcome.

Why was the visa the wrong one.....and if it is wrong why would you want to appeal???

here is what happened my wife is a british and we are register together here in an eu country but she does not work here but in the uk,so when i apply(EEA -FP) this was the reason they say" the your wife has not execised her treaty right in the eu nation where i live permanently for that reason it was refuse.
so my question is which visa is suitable to be with my wife permanently. pls thanks.

and will the refusal stop me from apply for the right visa(spouse or what ever it is....?)

Appeal if you want to but you won't win. You need to apply for spouse visa and it will cost you about £600 roughly.
