extension of tourist visa

hi!can i ask if a tourist visa can b extended?just need to have it extended for 3 weeks for my mom since i cant find a cheAP creche for my 1 yr old baby

tourist visa (c visit visa) cannot be extended beyond the 90 days.

If you come to Ireland for 90 days, is that the only length of time you can stay within the whole year, or just at a time?

It depends on if the person is a visa required national or not.
