Allrite!! That was the further "Leave to Remain" you got. Good for you. Atleast u'll be saving on the flight tickets. I am here checking on the airlines tickets and goddamn!! they've got expensive.

Don't worry Mate!! If you have another account either overseas or in Britain that can cover up the fund then make an appeal. You'll get your psw.

Even otherwise, you can make a fresh application as and when u have demonstrated the money in your account for the stipulated 3 months period either in your home country or in Britain. Just make sure that you apply before the 12 months period after you finished your course. Things have more or less evened out now. Just make sure that if u make a fresh application from your home country, attach a bank letter aswell with your application stating that the entire amount is unincumbered i.e. available to you as and when u need. I did that just to avoid any confusion.

Also, make sure that you mention your refusal and any traffic offence while making a fresh application. Hiding anything is no good. CCJ and other civil liabilities are not necessary as they don"t ask.

Good luck Mate!!! Go and do the need ful. Just like you, I was worried about uncertainty but eventually it all got resolved. Only sometime was wasted. I would also recommend you to consult the international officer in your university atleast once before you do anything. It will be helpful for you.

Regards

Dude, I'm really happy for you. I am in the SAME situation but I haven't got mine yet.

10th Aug: Applied in the UK for Leave under PSW category
4th Sept: Rejected because of being 2 bloody days short of 3 months in maintenance requirement
8th Sept: Recieved documents back
18th Sept: Left the UK back to my home country (Nigeria)
3rd Nov: Applied for entry clearance for PSW

Today 8th Jan 2010: STILL WAITING!!!!!!!!

What are these bloody UKBA people doing?

Hello Nesinho,

I am sorry about your wait. I was in the same situation but I applied since 6th Jan 2009 and my appeal process took like forever. I only just withdrew the appeal.

I opted to make an out of time application in the UK instead of going back to my home country(Nig) because those people do not answer to anybody and the timeline is very unpredictable. I made the application on the 24th Nov, 2009 and got my visa on the 6th Jan, 2010

I am sure you will be given in due time.

Cheers
