VFS Delhi - weird policy

VFS have got this strange policy now. They are not allowing anyone inside but the applicant. How do I apply for a visa for my parents when they won't allow me inside with my parents?
Parents can't handle all the application procedures on their own. Anyone faced this problem?

This is has been the process for about 2 years ( the very first time i had applied for uk visa)

It is always been like that. Its depends on the security officer outside. when we went, it was in Chennai, the security asked me to stay by the gate and if they feel the applicant needs assistant they'd come and get me. It was ok in the end as the people in the premium counter did everything, including paying the fee and take the applicant to take passport photoes. They were very helpful, only took 20mins in total. It was for my elderly mother in law and I was worried just like you are now. It'd be ok.

Make an appointment in premium service and say you'd like to go in with the applicant.

Many thanks for your reply. I was very worried how she'll be able to apply on her own. I'll book a premium appointment. Again I feel it is ridiculous they don't allow anyone inside other than the applicant.

Since they ask for all the original documents, is it wise to submit bank pass books, fixed deposits, house papers in original for proof of finance? Or should I submit photocopies?

Do you get the originals back immediately?

Your parents seem to have managed to bring you up without your help, I am sure even if you cannot join them they will be fine.
