Can somebody let me(point me to link) know Tier-1 equivalent for US and process to get it?

There is no point-based immigration program in the US.

Do we have anything else where people can apply individually to go and work in US without any sponsorship? Similar to HSMP/Tier-1(except point based) which means I don't have to rely on companies, sponsor and can work independently.

No. Even if you had a Nobel Prize and qualified for an O1 visa for people with extraordinary ability, you would still need to be sponsored by an employer.

An alternative would be an employment-based green card (immigrant visa). You would still need to be sponsored by an employer, but once you arrive in the US you are free to work for anyone else. However, these are very hard to get.
