My situation.. I have been granted Indefinate stay...
I sent my passport with my stay to student loan company.. they have possible lost my passport!

I want to travel next week.. ticket has been booked already!!..
Is it possible for me to travel and come back into the COUNTRY!...
my idea is, if i did travel to my country and lost my passport in my country am sure i would be able to return to the uk... lossing your passport cant possibly mean no more return to the UK...

So my question is whats the best way to go by it... should i get an Emergency travel certificate, get to my country and sort it out there.... or forget travelling....
I have documents from the Home office that says i have been granted my stay and co..

If I were you, I would sort the passport first, before travelling..

Have you registered the loss with police, which would be essential for your duplicate passport?

Agree with VKS, you must sort out passport issue first.

You can obtain an emergency travel document but it is a one-way travel.

I would have to agree and put your travel plans on hold until this is resolved. Either that or contact an immigration solicitor.
