I believe that spouses of the Tier 1 visa holder can work by virtue of being a dependent. I have applied for the tier 1 visa and have got it approved for me and my wife. Now i wud move to the UK along with my wife .. and then return back to india after the immigration is done. I have the following quesitons.
1. Can she work in UK without me securing the job for 3 yrs ?
2. Would my visa lapse if i dont work in UK for a specific period of time ?
( incase of h1 b if u dont work for 60 days or so the h1 is cancelled and automatically the h4 is also cancelled but i am not sure of the UK visa!!).
PS:- I know that i can enter the UK even after 2 yrs of taking the visa but i intend to go to the UK and return back with my spouse working there...
Let me know whether this works .. and anyone has faced this situation.

I have faced the similar situation where I need to leave UK and move to Singapore for some time and my wife(who is on dependent visa) continued to work in Uk.
Abslultely, no issue with this. Your spouse can work to Tier 1 dependent visa irrespective of if your are there in UK or not.
