A li'l query ... does the person on tier 1 dependent have right to work ?
if yes then is there any cap on number of hours ?

Yes Tier 1 dependent has right to work and there is no restriction of hours. My spouse is working in public sector full time permanent without any trouble and during visa extn she has submitted HO ref letter which was in my name. And it was accepted.

No. You do not have any restrictions

yes, the dependant of tier 1 general is allowed to work without no restrictions at all.

If your visa says "except doctor in training" u cant, else u can.
