Earnings - HSMP to Tier 1 Extension

Post by kamal_ece » Mon Jan 04, 2010 9:23 pm

Hi gurus,

In order to prove the Earnings as supportive evidence is it mandatory to put 12 months of payslips and bank statements?

Can i put the payslips and bank statements for say 10 months?

I'm in a tricky situation that I am waiting for the missing bank statements for the period of Jan 2009 to Feb 2009 and 12 November 2009 to 11 December 2009.

My visa is going to expire on 28th Jan 2010.

I approached the Natwest bank for the missing documents and they said they will not give me a bank statements for historical months(more than 6 months). They provided me with last 3 months bank statements on the Natwest paper WITHOUT stamp.

Please help.

No. You may claim points for 10 months. But remember the previous earnings period claimed should be 10 consecutive months.
The Tier 1 guidance for previous earnings says that you may claim points for 12 consecutive months from the past 15 months before the date of application

Some of the banks don't historical statements, when you go to the bank directly, But you should be able to request an year statement, which may be charged and you should get those duplicate statements from their back offices. Be careful that the Service level agreement may not be maintained by the banks and you have to be quick.

My suggestion is that if you have enough points in the past 10 months and you have required evidences, then apply using them.

Please help.

Earnings - HSMP to Tier 1 Extension

Thank you for the quick reply.

I have approached the bank and also asked them over the phone and clearly stated my requirements.

I have raised request for the missing month period 12 Jan 2009 and 11 Feb 2009, 12 Nov 2009 and 11 Dec 2009.

So far I haven't received the statements by post. I will wait for those bank statements for this week.

Request your suggestion if approaching the Bank for statements and get them stamped for the last 3 months (20 Oct to till date) would suffice the requirements for both the funds availability and for the period 12 Nov 2009 and 11 Dec 2009?

Does this makes sense?

Regards,
Kamal
