What does Adhoc statements actually mean?

What does Adhoc statements actually mean?

Hi All,

What does adhoc statements mean? I get a quarterly statement from HSBC. If I get a statement from Bank in between the statement period, they provide a 'Temporary Statement'. Can this be counted as 'Adhoc statement'?

It means printed on bank letter head but it might not be signed or stamped

plus unlike temporary statement it will show account name, number and sortcode
