Schengen Visa at Italian embassy in London

Hi,

I am working in UK on Tier1-General Visa and my wife holds Tier1- Dependent visa.We both hold Indian passport.

I am planning to visit Italy along with my wife for 3-4 days on holiday, .

Having looked at Italian embassy website about Schengen visa , i have couple of questions :

1> Do i have to fill up 2 application forms (one for me and one for my wife) ? Do i have to pay visa application fee for each of the application separately?

2> Any idea how many days does it takes to get Visa stamped through Italian embassy in london.

Two forms, one each, two appointments.

This time of year shouldn't take long, but it will involve a trip to London and a couple of 10 minute 0906 £1.00 a minute rip off calls to book the appointments.
