I got my EC yesterday in British consulate in Düsseldorf (Germany) and I want to help all visitors and moderators of this great forum who answered my questions!

London, here I am! (well, in March  )

Congratulations .... it is good that it all worked out eventually! And that presumably includes you getting your new passport, because looking back at your previous posts, you seemed to be waiting for ages for that.

Not exactly, I'm still waiting. But I was assured in colsulate that I will be able to enter UK until the day old passport expires (and by that day I will get a new one - well, I hope - you are never sure with Russian authorities).

Anyway, visa starts on 1st of March :D

EDIT: And first time they gave me HSMP dependant visa. Luckily for me I checked it all immediately and just 5 minutes later they gave me correct one. Phew!
