dependant visa help - age

Myself and my partner have been married recently in my homeland and now want to apply to live in the uk.
However we have accounted a small problem regarding this.
I am over 21 however my wife - the british citizen isn't.
Is there options regarding this? maybe a different kind of visa that may be accepted because of the relationship??
Or if the parents of both parties provide full consent would that help?
Or because of the age 18-20 is the relationship almost banned from happening in the uk.

any help would be much appreciated

You will have to wait until she reaches 21 to apply for a visa

21 minimum is set in stone I'm afraid. How old is she? If she's like 20, surely you can wait. If she's just turned 18 maybe she can try excercising her eu treaty rights and apply under eu law where the minimum age is 18.

Her mother has spoke to an immigration office and they said as long as she is 18 which is the age of consent then i can apply for a dependant visa to join her.
However if it was a spouse visa i was apply for then she would have to wait till 21.
Whats the difference between both of these visas?

Dependants have to be under 18 and not ur wife for a kick off.

U'r gonna have to wait my friends, no other way (unless EEA way which is a big step)

You can always live in your country of origin while you wait for her to turn 21. A lot of young couples are doing this.
