Difficult to say as tomorrow they would start with those with tomorrow's appointments. I read similar circumstances on the board and HO reverted in 2-4 weeks in some cases. Hope you will have better luck in this hour of distress.vineetramdayal wrote:I went to the Croydon Homeoffice for the tier 1 General same day premium service. (Initial application )
I was expecting the decision same day as my uncle has died back home and i need to be there for the rituals so i booked an urgent appointment via a solicitor firm paying extr charges, but after waiting for 6 hours at the croydon PEO, my number was called and I was expecting to get a decision so that I could get my documents back same day, but SHOCKING the lady said that "my caseworker has to leave due to some reasons but he prepared my file, and my application is valid but unfortunately they cant give me a decision same day and they will let me know about the outcome, and that they will contact me" and that they will retain my documents.
And can anyone advice me on how many days I can expect a decision from them keeping in mind that my payment was processed and my file was made as well and I paid for premium service £ 1020. Also that i said to the lady that i have to travel urgently.
Problem is,they wont let you in without the appointment BUT if it is really urgent for you, there is no harm in reaching there and trying at least to spk to the caseworker.vineetramdayal wrote:Thanks PUSH
But as i said that the payment was processed same day and also that my file was made ready.......
On top I asked the lady to put a note on my file that I have to travel urgently due to the sad demise of mu uncle...
Do you think keeping in mind the above things I have an advantage of getting an early reply...
I did get there contact details but its the same PEO number 08706066677
Do you think its a good idea to pop in to the croydon PEO to the same Caseworker who was dealing with my case to enquire whats going on with my case
Many thanks
